The Manhattan fish market is a Malaysian owned company, on years 2002 the first outlet have opened in Singapore. I remember there is a lawsuit between the manhattan fish market and fish & co, the sory begin at The owner of manhattan fish market was working at Fish & co as a supervisor , when he earned enough of money and he back to Malaysia to started his own business, he used his experience in Fish & co to run up the business, so some of the business structure and cooking method and procedure look similar with fish & co, and when The Manhattan enter to Singapore, Fish & Co have suited The Manhattan fish market, the out come I not remember.
We order lunch menu, started with sgd 6.90 to 11.90 , free mushroom soup or salad.
This is the cream of mushroom complementary with meal, the taste quite good but unfortunately the soup not hot enought, and I hope go with garlic bread.
One for one deal for started @ sgd 5.90, I like the fry mushroom , they are using fresh mushroom deep fry with oil, the mushroom still very juicy. Moreover the special source add the new sensation to this dish. The seafood salad. Crab stick not very fresh, but other still ok, the squid very crunchy.
Spicy baked fish- they are using dolly fish as a main course. Come with fry rice and boiled veggie ( broccoli and carrot)
Cajun chicken salad- chicken well grill really awesome , furthermore the dry cherry and sunflower seed add the freshness to this dish.
value for money this is my experience for this restaurant, but I think the food can be improved and enriched in their variety .
